NQA certified judges will award a $10,000 Prize for Best of Show.
Best of Show winning quilt will appear in Quilters Newsletter in 2014.
Additional cash awards for Best Machine Quilting and Best Hand Quilting.
First, Second, Third Place and Honorable Mention cash awards in each of three categories:
Bed Quilt, Large Wall Quilt and Small Wall Quilt.

Enter each piece by completing online entry form with $25 entry fee per quilt by August 2, 2013. Form will be online in early May.
- Limit two entries per person, one quilt per category.
- Quilt must be constructed and quilted by person(s) named on entry blank.
- All entries must be quilted by hand, machine or both.
- Quilts must have a sewn on sleeve for hanging.
- Quilts should be in excellent condition and have been completed between August 1, 2011 and August 1, 2013.
- Quilt Sizes: (Must fit dimensions listed for category. A label identifying the maker must be stitched to the back lower edge of the quilt.)
- Bed-sized quilts must be 60" to 116" in width and a length of 80" or more.
- Large wall quilts must be 60" to 116" in width and a length of 40" or more.
- Small wall quilts must be 12" to 60" in width and a length of 12" or more.
- Quilt must be available for judging and display from September 6th through October 1st, 2013.
- Full-view photo must show all edges of the finished quilt. Detail photo must show the quilting stitches.
- All decisions of the jurors and judges are final. Georgia Quilt Show reserves the right to reject any entry, including those that fail to follow contest rules.

2012 Georgia Quilt Show Quilt Contest Winners
The 2012 Georgia Quilt Show competition quilts, juried into the Show from over 150 entries, is the centerpiece of the Exhibit Hall. The winning quilts have their prize rosette ribbons in place and cash prizes totaling nearly $10,000 will be awarded to the winners. The Best in Show quilt will be featured in an upcoming issue of
Quilters Newsletter.
