Velvet and beads…. what could be more glamorous? June’s ever-curious nature brings us this wonderful ‘slashed’ velvet bag. The technique really does occur once the fused fabrics (velvet and silk) are cut, lifted, folded and secured with beads. Explore this clever technique, which is appropriate for an entire piece, as in class, or used sparingly as a focal point of a wearable.
