Give your projects added depth and dimension by using thread to embellish and emphasize your project. Learning to ‘paint’ with thread will help you create unique works of art and will enhance and improve your quilting. You will develop a stronger understanding of the relationship between thread type, weight and needles. Experiment with different stabilizers and lose your fear of adjusting the tension on your machine. During class we will use different threads to embellish a beautiful flower panel to create a lovely wall hanging, throw pillow, or bag. This skill building class will encourage you to drop your feed dogs and expand your creativity. Kit available, or bring your own fabric (see supply list for details).
