Cut fabric and batting into 32 sections 11 x 11-inches.

Make 16 quilt sandwiches, there is no need to pin-baste

Have your sewing machine set with extension table for class with the free motion foot attached and your sewing notions nearby.

Thread (many and any you want to play with); Schmetz Microtex needles sizes 70/10, 80/12, 90/14; small sharp scissors or snips; paper (newsprint is great); ball point pen (two colors); pencil; at least two sheet protectors; dry erase fine markers; small scrap of cotton batting to erase dry erase marker marks; Quilter's Gloves; reading glasses if you wear them; sewing machine in good working condition with darning or free motion presser foot; extension table and good lighting.

Fabric requirements:

• 2 1/2 yards of muslin (or any one color solid fabric you may have, no prints)
• Batting, enough to make (16) 11 x 11-inch quilt sandwiches
