Strips of print fabric should be at least 7-inches long and 1 1/2 - 3-inches wide. (Don't worry too much about pre-cutting. Smaller pieces may be sewn together to create larger pieces!)
Sewing machine set up for piecing with 1/4-inch foot, thread to coordinate with fabric, rotary cutting supplies, 6 x 24-inch ruler, 12 1/2-inch ruler, and iron.

Fabric requirements:
- 4-5 yards strips of print fabric
- 4-5 yards neutral scraps for pieced background (as shown in pattern) or 2 1/2 yards background fabric in you prefer not to piece background
- To finish quilt: 2/3 yard binding fabric, 4 1/2 yards backing fabric, 80 x 80-inch batting
