Join influencer Chelsea Swindle of She Sews Seams as she shares her self-published Sewing Journal technique and teaches you how to document your creations. In this workshop - we will discuss the importance of documentation in sewing for both utilitarian and record-keeping purposes.

Through creative writing prompts and discussion - we will open our minds to the world of properly tracking your sewing projects. Class participants will receive their own journal copy and a special archival pen.

Have you ever sewn a pattern up and made changes as you went? Or created a beautiful quilt only to forget what the fabric line or pattern was called? What is your FAVORITE thing that you have ever made? Have you been searching for a place to document your beautiful creations? You’ve come to the right place. . .

Students are encouraged to bring a favorite small project with notes and swatches or photos of the project to help you make that first entry as descriptive as possible!
