Join HollyAnne Knight of String & Story for an empowering class designed to boost your free motion quilting (FMQ) confidence while crafting a delightful set of placemats. This engaging workshop is perfect for quilters who have tried free motion quilting but have faced challenges with achieving consistent, beautiful stitches or felt anxious about quilting a real project.

In this class, we’ll start by reviewing the fundamentals of free motion quilting, including tension and posture, to ensure you have a solid foundation. You'll practice several essential free motion quilting motifs that will enhance your skills and build your confidence. HollyAnne will guide you through creating a comprehensive quilting plan, explaining how and why to map out your designs for the best results.

We’ll then put theory into practice by drawing quilting plans for your placemats and bringing those designs to life on your fabric. By the end of the class, you'll have a set of beautifully quilted placemats and a newfound ease with free motion quilting. This class will help you move beyond any quilting anxieties and embrace your inner Quilting Rockstar with flair and confidence.
