In this workshop, you'll learn how to master the process of low-water immersion dyeing to produce captivating color splits and gradients on your fabric. We'll cover essential techniques for successful batching and rinsing to ensure your colors come out vivid and precise.

 

You’ll gain hands-on experience with the methods that produce striking patterns and effects typically associated with ice dyeing, all without needing ice. Whether you're a seasoned dyer or new to the craft, this class will equip you with the skills and knowledge to create one-of-a-kind fabric designs that will elevate your textile projects.     Pre-wash fabric with no fabric softener, and a 1/2 cup of salt or soda ash.

    • PFD White 100% cotton, linen, rayon or hemp fabric - 3 yards

    • 2 - 4 Quart Container with Closing Lid
    • Milk Frother
    • Disposable or Dishwashing Gloves
    • Scissors
    • Dedicated/New Measuring Cup and Spoon Set
