The goal: to become confident about choosing and executing quilting motifs which enhance the piecing on a quilt. Sometimes background fillers are the best answer, since they can elevate a quilt, giving it that little extra. Explore how to select, draw and stitch many background fillers, some based on a grid and others which are more appropriate for the modern quilt style. Bring your own fabric; see the supply list for details.

Note: Two students will share a machine, so sign-up with a friend or make a new one in class when you join the fun! You'll be surprised at how much you'll learn between turns at the machine.
