Those luscious fall sweaters are just begging to be embroidered! Think falling leaves flowing down an elegant cardigan. Pattie will show you how easy it is to embroider leaves on a classic button front sweater as you learn stabilizing and hooping methods without damaging the sweater, easy placement techniques and the proper toppers to use for these fine-knit sweater fabrics. Class will also include a discussion on the best designs to use, stabilizer fails to avoid and more.

Prerequisite:
Basic knowledge of machine embroidery

Advance Prep:
Purchase sweater - cardigan style in cotton-acrylic blend only. Fine gauge or light gauge flat weave. NO wool, cables, ribbed, waffle or other textures. No need to pre-wash.

Supply List:
- Cardigan style sweater-cotton-acrylic blend only. No wool. Fine or light gauge-flat weave, no cables, ribbed, waffle or other textures. No need ot prewash sweaters. Questions-Contact Patti at info@greatcopy.com.
- Scissors-fabric and paper.
- Seam ripper.
- Tweezers.
- Blunt tipped double bent scissors.
- Embroidery thread in rayon or poly sheen if colors shown are not desired.
- Bobbin weight thread if other than black, white or ivory.
- Flash drive or memory stick is optional.
Completion Level:
Most will complete the sweater in class
