Inspired by a classic Carpenter’s Wheel, this striking 24” block is pieced and quilted entirely on the embroidery machine! Professional educator Tamara Evans has designed and digitized an incredible method for making perfect half square triangles—no precision measuring or manual stitching required. In class you will learn what stabilizers work best for piecing and quilting in-the-hoop, as you assemble the quilt block in sections, then rehoop for all-over quilting.

Your kit will include five precut prints featuring Americana colors and a spool of thread for both piecing and quilting. You will also receive all design files, Tamera’s original pattern and project coloring sheet, with additional instructions for finishing your block as a decorative pillow, wall hanging, or table cover.

If you haven’t tried quilting in-the-hoop before, you will see how this amazing technique can make quick finishes of smaller projects. Plus, Tamara will also share samples of the Carpenter’s Wheel in multiple colorways to spark your imagination for making more blocks at home.
