North Texas Quilt Festival - Irving Convention Center

July 31, August 1 & 2, 2025

Rules and Updates:

- Members of affiliated Quilt Guilds and non-members may enter begining February 12, 2025

- Deadline for all entries is May 31, 2025

- Submit entries individually up until the deadline

- Each entrant will receive an email bill with a payment link.

- Entry fees are due June 21, 2025

Top prizes include $1,000 for Best in Show, two $700 Merit Quilted awards, five $300 awards: Judges Choice awards, Viewer's Choice, and Hand Quilting, twenty-four $200 awards for first place in each category and twenty-four $50 second place awards, an honorable mention ribbon and Expo Director's choice ribbon.

PART SIX: Traveling Quilt Display

We will curate a group of quilts called 'The Showcase of North Texas Quilt Festival' to be exhibited at Original Sewing & Quilt Expo events in 2026.

Quilts will be selected in December 2025. If selected, you will be given further instructions at that time, and your quilt will be traveling from February through November of 2026.

At all times your Quilt will be securely handled by the expert staff of Original Sewing & Quilt Expo. It will be insured, stored and exhibited in climate controled enviroments.
