MINI QUILT AUCTION DONATION ENTRY FORM

North Texas Quilt Festival - Irving Convention Center

August 18, 19 & 20, 2022

 

Our annual Mini Quilt Auction gives quilt makers and collectors a chance to give back to the Guilds hosting North Texas Quilt Festival.

 

This years auction will feature mini quilts, as well as unique handmade textile art, bags and wearables. Items will be displayed for silent auction bids plus offered for the ‘buy it now’ price, from Thursday, August 18 - Saturday, August 20 between 10:00am -4:00pm.

 

- Registering your Auction Donation Entry is online only, and will close on June 15, 2022.

- Auction Donation items must be turned in to the guild representative by June 30, 2022.

- There is no entry fee for auction items so enter as many items as you wish.

 

Entry Requirements

- A separate Entry Form must be completed for each item entered.

- You must chose which Guild will receive the donation item sales.

- Entries must have a label with the following:  Maker's name,  Guild name. and credit to pattern maker, if pattern is used.

- Mini Quilts must be no larger than 24″ on any side, and no smaller than 10”.

- Mini Quilts must have a 2” sleeve attached (sleeves only, no tabs). The sleeve should include ½” of ease and be stitched to the quilt on both the top and bottom of the sleeve. Entries without a correctly sized sewn sleeve will not be accepted.

- Mini Quilts can not be made with a printed panel. Panels will not qualify.

- Textile Art, Bags and other items must be able to be displayed in 24” x 24” space, and be able to be hung on a rod.

- All entries must be able to be hung on a 2" rod.

 

General Information

- All entries must be submitted online using form below by June 15, 2022.

- All entries must be 'Show Quality', which is clean, in good condition, free of animal hair and smoke.

- Entries will be accepted in the order registered with total number of entries limited per the site and participating guild.

- The Auction Committee reserves the right to refuse any entry that it deems inappropriate or that does not meet the requirements.

- All proceeds, 100% of the money for each donated item, will go to the Guild you designate to receive it.

- If assistance is needed, or you have questions about where to take your entry please contact your guild Mini Auction and/or NTQF representative.

- Donation items may be eligible for the Contest. Check below if this item is also entered in the 2022 contest.
