  • Student Maximum: 20
  • Category(ies): Quiltmaking, Piecing Techniques
  • Experience Level:

    Confident beginner

  • Advance Prep:

You can work from yardage or scraps. Choose a vairety of prints (or solids will work well too) and a background fabric (this can be a variety of fabrics).

Look for good contrast between your prints and background fabrics.

From both a print (or solid) fabric and a background fabric, you’ll need the following:

    (2) 4 Inch squares – so (4) squares total: 2 prints and 2 backgrounds
    (2) 5 3/4 Inch squares - (4) squares total
    (4) 8 Inch squares – (8) squares total
    (1) 4 Inch x wof strip – 2 strips total (these can be cut from fat quarters: 4 Inch x 21 Inch)
    (3) 3 Inch x wof strips – 6 strips total (these can be cut from fat quarters: 3 Inch x 21 Inch)
    (1) 3 1/2 Inch x wof strips - 2 strips total (these can be cut from fat quarters: 3 1/2 Inch x 21 Inch)
    (2) fat quarters each: print and background for creative play!
