This immersive course will teach skills for fabric draping and patternmaking with the use of a dress form. Joe will demonstrate basic to intermediate techniques through a variety of flattering drapes from a cowl and cascading top to plunging neckline. Practice draping with muslin, on a body form provided in class, or bring your own for a custom fit. Then, seamlessly translate the draped muslin into a refined pattern, while learning dart manipulation to create different designs including a sophisticated princess pleat bodice.
