Fabric requirements:
Fabric selections is quite important. There are two fabrics in the quilt center, a floral print and background fabric. The floral print has huge flowers, not too many colors, and still has a lot of background. The background fabric, this is the other fabric for the quilt center, is one that reads solid-but it needs to have some texture - and the color comes from the main fabric but this time it is one that is all over. The outer border is one that works well with everything in the quilt center without overpowering it - its job is to frame the center piece. The binding can be the same as the outer border. Then there is the accent border which is a very subtle color from the floral print.
