Recreate this vintage quilt using NO templates and your rotary cutter and ruler. 45-degree diamonds and simple half-square triangles swirl around a center as swallows might in the air. No y-seams make this doable for just about any quilter (who can sew with an accurate 1/4-inch seam). Bring your own fabric, see supply list for details.

Paper scissors, fabric scissors, small scissors or snips, straight pins, pencil, marking instrument (pen, pencil or chalk), seam ripper, 28mm rotary cutter and ruler, 12.5-inch square ruler, any notions you can't sew without. Note: Cutting mats will be available in the classroom.
