With five pretty panels and accent strips, plus pockets inside and out, this bag is ideal for holding more than a few of your favorite things. Learn how to create unique stitches on a serger, including flatlock and a rolled-edge hem, as you assemble and embellish the Ultimate Tote with designer Jill McCloy. We call it the weekender bag you will use every day. The stuffed handles sit softly on your shoulder for carrying class supplies or shopping at the Expo, and deep pockets with elastic casing will keep the contents secure.

Select fabrics in your favorite prints or try color blocking with bold solids for each piece. For extra fabulous stitches, bring one spool of coordinating decorative serger thread (Candlelight or Decora No. 6). White, Black, Grey, and Ecru thread will be provided to construct your bag. If you prefer to match your fabric or want the stitches to stand out in a contrasting color, please bring 3 spools of your own serger thread.
     

Your class kit will include the pattern and batting. Please see student supply list for detailed fabric requirements.
