Join Sew Steady National Educator Kate Quinn to explore the intricacies of a scrappy Double Wedding Ring quilt block. Kate shares everything you need to know. Topics include cutting the block units using Sew Steady's Westalee Double Wedding Ring cutting templates, selecting the best fabrics, working with bias fabric edges, chain piecing for fast assembly, stitching curved pieces with ease, managing pressing for flat and smooth seam intersections, and general completion of the blocks needed for this eye-catching quilt pattern. Though this block has many pieces and does take some time, using Kate's practical tips and guidance, you can master the skills to make a fabulous heirloom Double Wedding Ring style quilt.

This scrappy kit comes with some precut units and the fabric to make a 4-patch block.
