Be able sew an accurate 1/4-inch seam allowance and use rotary cutting equipment

Given that our class is only three hours long the following will be enough to work in class:
Background (white) Fabric
Cut 4 strips 2-inch x wof (for flowers)
Cut 2 strips 3.5-inch x wof (setting triangles) and crosscut each strip into 11 squares 3.5-inches
Flower Fabric
From 4 different fabrics, cut 2 strips 2-inch x wof.

Here is what you need to do if you want to cut the material for the entire project:
Cut and label as indicated in parenthesis
BACKGROUND (WHITE) FABRIC
Cut 24 strips 2-inch x wof (Flowers)
Cut 2 strips 3.5-inch x wof (Setting triangles)
      Cut each strip into 11 squares 3.5-inches
Cut 2 strips 3.5-inch x wof (Floating Borders)

Cut 2 strips 4.5-inch x wof (Short Outer Borders)

Cut 4 strips 7.5-inch x wof (Long Outer Borders)

Cut 7 strips 2.5-inch x wof (Binding)

FLOWER FABRIC
From each of the twelve fabrics

Cut 2 strips 2-inch x wof

Fine patchwork pins, stiletto, reading/sewing glasses if you need them, rotary cutter with new blade, 6 x 24-inch ruler, 12.5-inch square ruler, anything else that will make your sewing experience more enjoyable. Note: Rotary cutting mats will be available in the classroom.

Fabric Requirements for the 53 x74-inch quilt:

• 3 1/2 yds of background and binding fabric (white) 
• 1/8 yd each of 12 different fabrics (2 yellow, 2 lavender, 2 blue, 2 green, 2 peach, and 2 pink) for the flowers

Will learn enough to be able to finish at home.
