Do you happen to have a random quilt block in your fabric stash? Some call these orphan blocks, WIP (work in progress), even UFOs (unfinished objects), but we think it's Serendipity! In this fantastic class you will repurpose that lone quilt block into a darling quilter's tote, while learning a variety of sewing techniques.

Professional educator, Christine Harlan, was inspired to adapt a favorite pattern just for you. During this class, you will learn some valuable industry tips as you work with multiple fabric layers, decorative stitches, embellishments & detailed finishes. Please bring an unfinished quilt block with additional fabric (see supply list) for a bit of impromptu piecing. Christine will give direction for extending square blocks into an 8 3/4" x 10 1/4" rectangle for the tote. Larger blocks can be trimmed to size. You are welcome to bring more than one block to audition for your tote or trade with another student. Christine will also have a block or two on hand for inspiration.
