The Mariner's Compass is one of the earliest quilt patterns and highly coveted by quilters abroad. The sharpest points on a Mariner’s Compass are achieved by using advanced foundation paper piecing techniques. This class is for those that have some knowledge of paper/foundation piecing and will teach you speed cutting techniques, foundation piecing, and curved foundation stitching, the secret source of the technique. Deborah will discuss the methods used in foundation piecing to help you understand the process and the importance of each step, thereby making all future projects enjoyable.
