  • Supply List:

    Student Supply List: Two (2) sheets 8 1/2 x 11-inch printer paper, mechanical pencil, paper scissors, fabric scissors, straight pins, marking instrument, seam ripper.


    Fabric requirements: Quilt #1: A variety of fabric strips (strings!) varying in width from 1 1/2 to 3 inches and at least 7 inches long, (equal to approximately 1/4 yard), (2) 10-inch squares background fabric, or a variety of low volume scraps equal to 1/4 yard. 


    Quilt #2: A variety of fabric strips varying in width from 1 1/2 to 3 inch wide and at least 11 inches long, (1) strip white or white on white fabric strip 1 1/2 inch wide x 40 inches long, (4) squares solid fabric 5 x 5 inches.  

  • Completion Level: Students will complete 2 different string quilt blocks
