Learn the history of this process for creating beautiful textiles as you design, transfer, and carve your own block. The final exciting step will be inking and printing your block onto paper and fabric. Leave class with printed swatches and stationary, even yardage if desired.

Your class kit includes the wood block for carving, carving tool, transfer paper, inks. Students will be provided with a swatch of fabric for printing practice and are encouraged to bring textiles from home to try. Smooth, medium to heavyweight fabrics are best for beginners.
