Rather than just cutting strips, see what rulers and templates are needed to center a motif or image as well as repeat symmetrical patterns. Angie will demonstrate multiple shapes, then it will be your turn practice precise cutting, with just a bit of quilt math to account for seam allowance. Be inspired by the beautiful samples that include fussy cuts for English Paper Piecing and a Dresden Plate.

Your class kit will include a variety of fabrics swatches, plus one of Angie's favorite rulers. 

Please bring a rotary cutter with a new blade. Cutting mats will be provided, however if you have a rotating mat, you may find it easier to use for the fussy cutting techniques.
