Sew Steady is Westalee is famous for their rulerwork quilting template products, but they have also expanded their offering to digital quilting designs for embroidery quilting.  Join Sew Steady education ambassador Kate Quinn as she shares how to create fabulous, custom-style quilting using your embroidery machine. These designs are constructed using the amazing rulerwork tools in the Sew Steady/Westalee lineup so they can also be embellished with matching templates to create an even more cohesive quilted appearance. This intersection of techniques is called Embroidelee.

This class focuses on the embroidered aspect of this process.Topics include hooping a sandwich for digital quilting, exploring design placement and manipulation, design rotation and rescaling, how to make decisions about designs alignment, and tips for threads and batting. The last 15-20 minute of the class, the instructor will provide a short rulerwork demonstration so that students can see how these two tasks work together to complete an amazing, quilted finished product.

A preprinted quilt panel sandwich, thread, and designs are provided as a kit, which you can take home for further practice. This class is suitable for all skill levels. No prior experience is required.
