What if you could evaluate a fabric with confidence—knowing how it will drape, stretch, and wear before making the first cut? Fabricology is a hands-on class for garment sewists who want to stop guessing and start understanding fabric. Through guided tactile comparison, students train their eye and hand to recognize fabric quality, weight, stretch, and performance.
Each participant receives a Fabricology reference binder with 50 curated apparel fabric swatches, natural fiber samples, GSM weight charts, a printed knit stretch ruler, terminology guides, and expansion pages for building a personal fabric library. Students explore how fiber, yarn, fabric structure, color and finish, and knit construction affect drape, weight, stretch, and garment performance—building the knowledge and confidence to choose fabric successfully.
