Eric has always loved the 3-dimensional effect Libby achieved with her free motion stitching. He brought her directions up to date using some of the new Sulky metallic threads and improved stabilizers. What a fantastic way to experiment with various threads and stabilizers that you might have never tried. This is an easy project for beginner free motion students and will also challenge the intermediate student. It is very forgiving for those with two left thumbs. Eric will walk you, step by step, through piecing the quilt top, creating the ribbons of thread, and free motion quilting. You will learn some great techniques and leave with a piece of art that will dazzle your friends.
