One of Alicia’s greatest joys in going back to school in her youth was the ability to purchase a new Trapper Keeper. She has now created the adult version of this handy catch-all to be used for sewing! The front of this adorable organizer showcases a band of machine embroidery adorned with prairie points that are easily achieved using innovative rulers from Quick Points. On the inside, two side pockets fit over the sides of a three-ring binder yet still have enough room to hold your favorite small ruler and/or cutting mat. The organizer is filled with multi-pocket notions “pages” that fit onto the binder rings using metal grommets or buttonholes. The notions pages are made with vinyl windows so that you can easily see what is inside. They also use zipper-by-the-yard and multiple zipper pulls, allowing you to customize your notion storage options by dividing each page into anywhere from one to six pockets. The outside of the organizer uses a durable two-way handbag zipper to zip entirely closed, keeping all your notions and other project materials securely in place. During this one-day class, you will work on an inside pocket and the embellishment for the front of the organizer and will leave with fully illustrated instructions to help you finish at home.
