Have you ever found yourself digging around in the trash looking for a sewing project? Probably not! But for some reason, Connie did just that and has come up with a great way to upcycle an empty candy or cookie bag. After you have carefully opened your candy or cookie bag (see Student Supply List and Advanced Prep for size guidelines and helpful tips) bring it to class and begin by preparing the bag to be sewn. You’ll learn plenty of easy methods to success along the way and even insert a zipper to finish off this adorable and creative upcycled bag. Never look at food wrappers the same way again! Bring your own fabric, see supply list for details.
