Thrummed Mittens

What is a THRUM? A thrum is a small fleece heart on the knit side of the mitten made by wrapping a piece of roving around the needle and knitting it. The warmth and moisture of the hands will ultimately felt the inside tufts of roving, creating a cozy home for your fingers. Learn to make these wonderful mittens. Self-Patterning Socks

Socks are hot! Haven’t had a chance to catch the craze yet? With this wonderful yarn and a basic sock pattern, learn the techniques for knitting socks and get started. During class you’ll learn all parts from ankle to heel turn to toes. On one set of needles you’ll practice the parts and on the other set of needles you’ll get your first sock started and be on your way. It’s fun, it’s addictive and the results are fantastic.
