This home-machine based class covers the basic shapes of stipple quilting and how those shapes are used to fill the spaces. You will learn how to proportionally fit designs into areas of different shapes, and how to prepare your top for the very best free-motion quilting results. Bring your own fabric, see supply list info for details.

    Paper scissors, fabric scissors, small scissors or snips, straight pins, pencil, marking instrument (pen, pencil or chalk) and seam ripper, Quilt Halo free motion quilting tool, Supreme Slider, Millners® needle size 8 or 10, angled tweezers
     
    Fabric requirements: 
    • 24 inch x 24 inch prepared quilt sandwich (plain cotton muslin top, cotton or wool batting, and plain cotton muslin backing) 
  • Completion Level: Students will learn multiple quilting techniques
