Do you want to create a whole cloth quilt, but find the idea of a large project a little scary? Start small! Using one of Helene’s simple and artful graphic designs as your stepping off point, first learn how to transfer a quilting design onto the Sateen quilt top. Engage in a discussion of multiple background and grid motifs, and the resulting quilted effects each will have on the traced design. Stitching your Sateen whole cloth in class will be artistically satisfying, and you’ll have gained the confidence and quilting knowledge to ‘super size’!
