While you might love the look of straight line quilting -- especially on modern quilts -- you can become easily bored when doing it on a large quilt, or even a large area of a quilt. See some very simple ways to break things up a bit, adding bends and twists to your straight lines. Discover a few tricks for creating optical illusions within straight line quilting, some neat ways to add small areas of interest using straight, wavy, and flowing, curvy lines alone or in combination and more. These twists on the basic straight line are not just for modern quilts! They’ll work wonderfully on many styles of quilts.
