Guide To Modern Tailoring Series:
Starting with the paper pattern and ending with the final lining stitches, explore and define essential steps for successful modern tailoring.  The series focuses in stages, presenting information in a logical sequence for anyone who desires a clear understanding of the process used to confidently create wonderful jackets.

Pre-Construction Prep
Examine factors involved in the evaluation and adjustment of pattern seam allowances, then focus on working with the fabric: cutting, marking, applying interfacing and stay stitching. Discuss options for button sizes, type of buttonholes, how to set up for slot buttonholes, stitch lengths and thread options.
