Join the slow sewing movement and experience the most contemporary hand sewing methods for embellishments on organic cotton jersey. Using an exclusive kit stenciled and prepared by Alabama Chanin, create a hand-sewn, running stitch/reverse applique tea towel. The techniques experienced in class can be applied to creative projects of all types, whether used selectively as unique design elements or to create all-over texture. All materials for the tea towel, including a practice sampler, are included for an afternoon of creative stitching satisfaction.
