You'll get input on how/where Jill finds her own ideas to help you get started. It could be as simple as a piece of fabric that you love or the graphics on a soap wrapper. Explore how to get the idea onto paper in the form of a pattern; how to decide what techniques to use; how to decide on a focal point and how to "build" the quilt. You'll receive simple design guidelines including questions for you to answer throughout your process, to help hone in on the perfect design for your quilting -- the who, what, where questions about the quilt, your strengths, how you feel about embellishments and rule-breaking, and so on. Answering many little questions can help you more easily find answers to the big questions.
