When you want to make a BIG quilt from start to finish on your domestic machine, you’re bound to be stressed. The space to the right of your needle is limited, so you are limited, too. Instead, why not quilt in bite-sized pieces -- by the block -- and allow your quilt to grow to the size you really want? Learn Helene’s ‘quilt first’ process in class, piecing simple but artful contemporary blocks, then quilting them and assembling the quilt. With easy piecing, your class focus will be on combining the blocks after they’ve been quilted. You can finish your first blocks as a wall hanging, or, if you’re ready to grow, use them as the beginning of a much larger piece. Bring your own fabric; see supply list for details.
